This half-hour sitcom aired on ABC from August until September 1992.
This odd little comedy cop show was a takeoff on the numerous police " reality" series on television in the 1990's, such as Cops and Real Stories Of The Highway Patrol. Middle-aged Bill( Leo Burmester) and young enthusiastic Donny( Ron Eldard) were squad car partners who were followed by hand-held cameras as they freed babies from locked cars, investigated unlikely cases of abuse, and arrested their neighbors in the peaceful town of Vista Valley, California. Meanwhile they never seemed to notice the real crimes taking place around them. Their were running gags about their family lives as well, Bill getting into trouble with wife Connie ( Lee Garlington) a dog groomer, and his 3 kids Rhonda, Bill and Seth ( Amy Hathaway, Eric Balfour, Joey Simmrin),while Donny's ex and kids hoped he wouldn't show up. Pete ( Chris Mulkey) was Donny's helpful brother.
Arresting Behavior was one of the few sitcoms of the early 90's that did not have a laugh-track.
