Michael J. Estime, who is best known for his work as a standup comic, will make his regular series debut as Cam, the sharp, witty producer of Janey Munro's radio talk show on the new ABC comedy, "Talk to Me."
Mr. Estime, a New York native, studied acting at Howard University in Washington, D.C. , and has been performing standup for the last six years in top clubs, such as Caroline's and Standup New York in New York City and The Improv in Los Angeles. His television credits include appearances on NBC's "Friday Night Videos" and "Comedy Showcase With Louie Anderson," and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend." Mr. Estime also has been a guest star on "Cosby" and "New York Undercover."
An appearance last year as one of the new faces at Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival led to his coming to Los Angeles and the audition for "Talk to Me."
Additionally, Mr. Estime has made his mark in regional theater in Washington, D.C., including multiple parts in "Voices in the Darkness" at the Ira Aldridge Theater.
Mr. Estime, who also specializes in various dialects, resides in Long Island, New York.
