(see this users gallery) Loni Anderson stars as Mandi Mullet-Heidecker, the Mullet brothers' fun-loving, sexy mother who could not be more proud of her offspring no matter what they do, in the new UPN comedy series THE MULLETS.
Best known for her role as Jennifer Marlowe in "WKRP in Cincinnati," Anderson has worked in television since the 1970s. She began her television career guest starring in shows, including "SWAT," "Three's Company," "The Incredible Hulk," "The Bob Newhart Show," "Barnaby Jones" and "The Love Boat." By 1978, she was a household name with "WKRP in Cincinnati" and worked on various television specials while on the series, including "The Magic of David Copperfield," "Family Feud Special," "Fabulous Funnies," "Siegfried and Roy at the Lido," "The Shaun Cassidy Special" and many "Bob Hope Specials." She also starred in numerous made-for-television movies, including "The Jayne Mansfield Story," "Letter to Three Wives," "A Whisper Kills," "My Mother's Secret Life," "Sorry, Wrong Number," "Too Good to Be True" and "White Hot: The Mysterious Murder of Thelma Todd," which also starred John O'Hurley.
Anderson also appeared in many feature films, including "Stroker Ace," "Blown Away," "3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain," "A Night at the Roxbury" and the animated film "All Dogs Go To Heaven."
Before moving to Los Angeles, Anderson worked in theater, appearing in plays including "Star Spangled Girl," "Never Too Late," "Any Wednesday," "Play It Again Sam," "Send Me No Flowers," and the musicals "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Threepenny Opera," "Can Can" and "Showboat."
Anderson's autobiography, My Life in High Heels, reached the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal best seller lists in 1995.
