Which DVD would you buy and why? I would actually leave out the store and wait until I got enough money to buy both DVD's. Too tough of a decision.

Is someone around here a bit Maude obsessed? Hey, if you'd leave the store and wait till you got enough money to buy both, shouldn't that be an option for us too? If you had to pick one, which would you pick?

The Jeffersons.

I'd pick the Jeffersons too, seeing as how I already have the first two season dvd sets. Maude isn't exactly very high up on my list of anticipated dvd releases.

I'm not saying no one else can't leave the store like me. I just can't decide, it's too tough-LOL

I would probably pick Maude since I've seen The Jeffersons on tv more.
Well, if I HAD to pick between the two, it'd be The Jeffersons.
BUT, if they "Save money and leave" option is available, I'd save my $30 for the eventual release of the Knots Landing DVDs...

The question should be changed to:
If you won a contest and got a choice between "Maude - The Complete First Season" and "The Jeffersons - The Complete Third Season".... which would you pick??
I would definately pick "The Jeffersons - Season 3".
I dont even know if I would buy Maude on DVD.
Its a little too political for me. (thats why I never got into All in the Family either)

Definitely Maude. It's my favorite Norman Lear show. It's very funny, IMO. It's a shame it isn't on DVD yet. :(

I would choose Maude. I've seen The Jeffersons a lot more and I didn't get into Maude until its last months on TV Land.
That's just it, the only time I ever saw Maude was at 5:30 AM in the morning (or somewhere in there), and, this was years ago, so I can't really view this accurately.

Now that I got me a DVD Player(it's a DVD/VCR combo), I am probably going to get Season 1 and 2 of The Jeffersons(probably for my birthday in July). I really look forward to the later seasons though, I never saw more than 1 or 2 episodes of the 1982-1985 seasons.

Bull****.
1.) DVD releases are never announced two years in advance.
2.) If there was a scheduled release, it would be reflected here (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/releaselistshows.cfm?ShowName=T&StartRow=1).

Nope, they won't announce a DVD release 2 years in advance please show us the link for where it was announced on TVshowsonDVD.com, cause I can ask Gord Lacey who owns the site, he posts @ boy meets world.net message board.
He would never announce a DVD release 2 years in advance
