their last U.S. top 40 hits during this chart week. Also, Canadian
singer/songwriter Eddie Schwartz wrote Pat Benatar's 1980 hit
single Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Lastly, two members of
Fleetwood Mac(Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham) were in
the top 40 at the same time with solo hits.

one of their most underrated songs, their last US hit single

30.Abacab-Genesis

awwww, Phil Collins when he still rocked

28.Key Largo-Bertie Higgins

sappy as hell, but always makes me think of my mother because I remember my family taking a trip to Florida when I was really little and she loved the song, and now she's ill :(

Mirror Mirror on the wall... am I going to go to jail for a DUI? she probably didn't think so, lol. Why Do Fools Fall In Love was such a disapointing album following Diana and The Boss, but it was still better than most of the albums that followed

19.You Could Have Been With Me-Sheena Easton

beautiful song, one of my fave Sheena songs

12.Sweet Dreams-Air Supply

Air Supply's always been a guilty pleasure of mine, don't tell anyone. LOL. Love this song

love it, even tho I actually preferred the other 2 singles off this album more (Make A Move On Me and Landslide)

4.Harden My Heart-Quarterflash

a great early 80's song, a shame they only had 2 or 3 more hits after this song

The only songs on that list that I still like after all these years.

Overall not my favorite collection of tunes by a mile but some are OK:

Wouldn't Have Missed it for the World- He has much better songs than this one, but at least someone like him was selling records then

Key Largo, Through the Years, Leader of the Band, Cool Night- all not too bad mellow pop

That Girl, Turn Your Love Around- liked them much more in 1982 than I do now, not dreadful, but both artists have done so much better

I Can't Go for That- didn't like this at all in 1982 but that wacked out beat has become classic

Love in the First Degree- not too atrocious

Waiting for A Girl Like You- the official shift this group made from AOR to MOR. OK but has a druggy sort of quality to it, like they were high as kites when they cut it.

Let's Groove- artistically the best one in the top 40 and stands up to the passage of time.

Overall the list is not too good. Like the nation was on drugs at the time.
