Hey, Sonny and Allison.
Just finished watching Friday the 13th.
Nothing happened all day, then about an hour or so ago there was an explosion (at one of the plants just a few minutes from my house). It felt like somebody picked the house up, then dropped it.. damn near bouncing me off the bed.

Yep. There's literally nothing to do there...yep, the craziest stuff goes on up there. I just heard that earlier this week, somebody was beaten to death in front of a restaurant I used to eat at all the time up there.

"Investigation continues...Yellow police tape cordoned off a portion of Fourth Street including two vehicles this morning as investigators from the Devils Lake Police Department and the Bureau of Criminal Investigations interviewed an individual on the street. They were focusing their interest in the apartments above the JC Penney Catalog and the vacant storefront to the west and across the street in the Glerum building, above Hoiberg's and the old Buds and Blossoms Building. Authorities are investigating an assault."

Oh my god, Allison. In Dickinson everybody's up in arms because there was a death threat sent to one of the high schools, and it was to be carried out today. Here's the story:

O. M. G. That is seriously messed up. We had something like that happen my...sophomore or junior year. Two people accused this really nice boy I knew of typing up a hit list of people he wanted to shoot, on the school computers...ANNNNNNYHOO, when the anniversary of the Columbine shooting rolled around that April 20th, my school had a lockdown and only half the kids showed up for school. They let the boy go and the two people that accused him of doing so got in major trouble. :D

That was the one thing we had to worry about, too. And that was just in my first year of high school. By the time I left, fights seemed to be the only thing teachers had to watch out for. Never did we have to worry about someone bringing a gun to class, or handing out death threats.

One of my cats is sitting on the top of the couch next to where I'm sitting...So sometimes I reach over to pet her...She originally jumped up because my mom had one of her halgon lamps turned on to do her stitching project, and she wanted to "tan" under the light...Now it isn't on anymore, so she dozed off. It's just soooo cute :biglove:

I remember in Junior High a kid in the cafeteria went crazy and picked up a chair and threw it across the room. Today he would probably have a gun.

Man, you just reminded me of the funniest thing that happened my sophomore year...I used to have my locker in the freshmen section (they have a lot of lockers, so usually sophomores with last names A-J have lockers there, while the rest of the sophomores got one in the sophomore section). Anyway, I asked to have my locker moved to the junior section of school, because my original locker was just too far from all my classes. Anyway, one day I was sitting by my locker during my free period and this one girl came down the hall to her locker... She spun in the combo and tugged at her locker. Wouldn't open. She started kicking it. Wouldn't open. Tried pushing on it. Wouldn't open. THEN SHE BODY-CHECKED HER LOCKER TWICE!  That FINALLY got her locker open...OMG, I was trying SO hard not to laugh. *snicker*

I watched H20 and wasn't very impressed. Halloween was full of atmosphere, and Michael Myers was much scarier than he is now. I really wish they'd make horror movies like they used to, where you didn't have to rely on so much happening all at once.. just let the story unfold, let the audience rely on their imaginations. And NO CGI crap.

The one thing I didn't like about H20 was that they wanted you to forget the sequels that came before it. They said that Laurie faked her death. To do this she left her daughter to be tortured by Michael. This didn't make since.

I think nowadays all the filmmakers want is to up the violence and forget about the story. The first Halloween movie was the least violent and it was the scariest of them all.

They're way too lazy when it comes to actually entertaining people. Seems like all they care about is making money off of a good thing, rather than trying to be more original.

Hmm, now that I think of it...It was your sister's and cousin's first times being married, right? Not with my English teacher, she was already married once...She did the wedding thing for 45 minutes then had a small reception for a hour afterwards...And this will be my uncle's 3rd time getting married, so he's been through all that wedding jazz already, plus it'll be a small wedding...there'll be a reception, but no dancing...so I think I'll be able to get away early :)

Utopian-Past-Tense Incantation
Time Machine
To the past, to the future, whoosh, zip, zoom!
Time Machine
My childhood when I was so adorable.
Making a lotus carpet,
Playing with dolls,
A mysterious charm, Fi! Fi!
Candy
I wore a beautiful kimono
Children's Festival
Oh, my dream machine...
Flowerstorm
To the faraway ancient me,
Ten, two, one, zero... Take off!
Time Machine
To the past, to the future, whoosh, zip, zoom!
Time Machine
To the time of all my dreams and wishes
Hair tied back,
toting a box lunch,
A mysterious charm, Fi! Fi!
Amusement parks
Surprise! Surprise!
These are all my soul
Oh, my dream machine...
Dreamstorm
To the faraway ancient me,
Ten, two, one, zero... Take off!

Now my room was situated right above the RA's, and I used that time when I wasn't watching the tube to do a little aerobic dancing to get in shape. Trouble was, all the RA heard was my size-9 feet pounding on his ceiling. After a week of this, he says to me, "OK, go watch your men in dresses! Just stop that racket!"

I have a degree in Fashion Design; so I am totally into the characters wardrobe, especially Ron's and how his style seemed to change every new season..In the beginning of the 6th, he wore this navy blue blazer with tan pants...HELLO...It looked so lame and ridiculous..the color combination was off and since he supposed to buys his clothing tailored made, it looked pretty inferior quality to me...Can you saw K-Mart or Sears...
