I'm a lot better at writing than I am at speaking. Autistic people have difficulty making friends (in my case, it is making friends outside of home). I used to have a lot of friends in elementary and middle school but I lost them because some people wanted me out of that middle school (I didn't do anything bad. It's a long story). My friends from those days have moved on apparently because I haven't seen most of them since 7th grade.

When I'm around new people I am sort of different than how I write online. For example, if I were to meet you in person, I would most likely start out timid with little eye contact (this is common in people with autism) but if I got to know you I would feel more comfortable with eye contact. I'd probably be doing a lot of listening. It's easy for me to write but when I speak it is a different story.

I know about Chico and the Man because I watched it when it was on TV Land a few years ago. I think everybody has a different personality when they are on-line; I know I do..I happen to be a very guarded and some what an aloof personality, just a facade because I am actually very shy, but you wouldnt guess that by looking at me...I also have a handful of friends..because I am also a very private person....

If it weren't for my family vacation in Summer 2000 I would have never had such a huge interest in television shows. They had TV Land which was a channel I had always wanted but my cable company didn't carry. I remember watching Leave it to Beaver, M Favorite Martian, The Honeymooners, The A-Team and Gomer Pyle USMC for the first time. I was disappointed when I left but in September that same year I was really ecstatic when I learned that it was going to pick up TV Land. I got it right in time for the Angel Heaven 24-7 marathon in which TV Land aired all the Charlie's Angels episodes plus some shows starring some of the cast for a whole week.

There was a chinese restaurant that had dead cats in their freezer and I think we had an incident with a taco bell but most of the restaurants around here are okay.

Nobody I know likes to talk about classic tv and thats why I come here. I buy books on it and I used to really tape a bunch of shows to the point it was getting addictive.:lol:

While I'm here, since I haven't been around to give a head's up about what's been going on: This week I've been working graveyards so, other than that, things are fine. Tonight I'll be working again and, possibly Friday and Saturday. Next week should be back to normal and I might even have some time off.
