Yikes, the painting song was painful to watch.

Enough with the inflection- no good song has ever had a big dose of inflection.

And yes, "I Will Always Love You" is not a good song.
Great singer, cheesefest.

IIIIIIII EEEEEEEE IIIIIIII will always loooooooooove youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu and IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.

Get a grip.

Rolling eyes aside- do you think that was a performance for the ages?

Yeesh.

I can name a thousand more stage appearances that blow that trivial crap away.

This was her night, she looked and performed beautifully. I'm not a fan, but she deserved her five Grammy's, and I'm happy for her.

The main problem I had with the Grammy's was that Luther Vandross won the Song of The Year award, he won it simply because of sympathy, Linda Perry deserved it.

But once again, congratulations Beyonce!

I don't much about Alicia Keys, but the song she perfomed at the piano was awesome.

Beyonce has about 1/8 of her talent at best.

The inflection party she held- no need to do that.
The presentation, well maybe she had no control of that- yet
she is fluff in general. Sorry, she is not one for the ages or anything because the Grammies give her center stage.

the thing I hated is that the only way they'd have Prince onstage and perform is if they had Beyonce onstage with him.

Nothing against Beyonce, but she's not 1/100th what Prince was. Prince is arguably one of the most talented artists the music industry has ever had. Yet flavor-of-the-month Beyonce gets higher applause when she goes onstage with him? THAT IS BULL!!! I've heard Dangerously In Love, and it does not compare to ANYTHING Prince recorded in the late 1970's and 1980's IMO.

who wants to bet Hilary Duff and Advil Lavigne were nudging to the person sitting next to them asking "who is that?" when Prince came onstage, haha.

well, I am not a Luther fan, but I can see why that song won even if it wasn't for Luther's illness. That song has the whole Tears In Heaven type of depressing loss vibe that will make people request it on Love Songs With Delilah for the next 20 years.

You get Delilah, too? I despise her! OMG, she's got the most annoying voice in the world, and she thinks she's like a professional shrink or something. ohno: Oy, she makes me mad!
