Tonight's wedding episode was really bittersweet, with a few good laughs - the aborted circus wedding was a hoot, as was the video Warren made! When Shirley went up and said, "I'm going to perform a song for you," I was half-expecting an off-key renedition of the Leon Russell tune called "A Song For You," but the "Beverly Hillbillies" knockoff was much more fun!

Now, on to serious business. . . . This episode had all the trappings of a farewell show, right down to references to "Cheers" and - HORRORS! - "Coupling." I don't know. . . . I think we'd better start those letters to NBC now.

I know it was a wedding episode, but I felt at times like I was attending a funeral. :( Let's hope it's not the end after all.

The finale had its moments. I think it wold have been a hoot if Phil or Eli won the lottery.

Why do they cancel all the great shows like Ed and keep the crappy ones??

Obviously the network boobs don't know what they're doing...once again. This show doesn't have to center around Ed and Carol's relationship, it has enough good characters to continue for three or four more seasons.

I could list a dozen or more shows that don't belong on the air, starting out with most if not all of those lame ass reality shows.

If Ed is indeed over, well, it's a damn shame is all I can say.

I think it was more funny that Phil or Eli did not win the lottery.
