Anyone else here into the music of the late Nick Drake, a British singer/songwriter from the seventies? He came out with three wonderful albums, with some whimsically enjoyable tunes but mostly comprised of deeply, achingly personal songs about death and loneliness. Pink Moon is marked by naked, honest, raw acoustic music. He died in 1974 of an accidental overdose of antideppressants. :(

R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe is and the late Elliot Smith was influenced by Drake.

Another example of an artist who went too early and is unjustly unrecognized in the context of rock. If you're not familiar with his work, this (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=UIDSUB040401301735252499&sql=A4s820r2at48z) is a great place to start.

Nick also plays on George Harrison's All Things Must Pass album.

Forgive me, father, for I am wrong. I pulled out the album and looked at the liners. It wasn't Nick Drake, but another Drake.

All I can say in my defense is "oooooooooooooooooooops!"

I like the song, "Black Eyed Dog" by Nick Drake from the Practical Magic soundtrack.

No problem, AKA. No harm done. :)
