Here's a simple exercise for those of you who love sitcoms from the past as well as the present. Pick any popular series from today and try to think of a sitcom from the past that it reminds you of.
Here's a few that I've thought of to get you started:
Hope & Faith------------Laverne & Shirley
8 Simple Rules----------Too Close For Comfort
Frasier--------------------The Bob Newhart Show (1970s version)
Those are the only ones that come to mind right now. As for others like "Friends", "Everybody Loves Raymond", and "Will and Grace", I'm completely stuck for comparisons. You guys can take it from here.
