One of the reasons I didn't like "Star Search" last season was that the judges were all too nice. Everyone was Paula. This season Naiomi is Paula, MC Lyte is Randy and that new guy, Matti Lethum is Simon.That guy never likes anybody but that's a good thing. He makes the show interesting. I would have liked it more if they kept the comedians though :(.

I would have liked it more if they kept the comedians though :(. I have started watching it again too, but I really hate that Mattie guy. He is just a rip-off, Simon wannabe, in my opinion. Nobody can replace Simon.

i thought SS came on Saturday nights at 8 et time on CBS?

oh my. I watch SS last night and those singers were horrendous. Especially the little boy with brown hair, kinda chubby who sang some ballad. It was AWFUL! All the judges praised him though. Goodness way to give a kid false hope. And then they take the little kids to an image consultant :rolleyes: .... what a train wreck.
