Sophia may not be the best mother in the traditional sense, but she's a good mother. She really does love Dorothy, as well as Rose and Blanche. Plus you can't beat her "Picture it, Sicily...." stories :lol:

Elyse Keaton, because she cared about her family very much. She had time for her kids and she loved them. Her kids came first and I think that's important. She also had a very good relationship with her husband which is important.
