Yes i remember the show, it was called "Its a Dog Gone Shame".
The only show shown was the pilot which ratings were so bad that it was never shown or mentioned again, its very hard to find any info on this pilot which was considered one of the major flops for CBS of all time. Actors dressed like dogs and acting like dogs was a total disaster for CBS, for what i have heard, they will not talk about this failure and have distroyed the pilot of the show which is unheard of in Hollywood. I know about this because i work for a talent agent who worked on the pilot for the show,
he told me that one now famous actor was dressed as DoGBonney, a SheepHeard dog that would sniff other dogs,
i ask for a hint of his name and he told me "Think of a Barbeque Sauce" I told him "Chris and Pitts" Maybe Brad?? He said, I'll never tell, ask "FITO" the other dog on the show. Ok, maybe Brad knows!!

Funny that you remember this pilot, from all mine time on the Internet this is the first post talking about this, go figure.

I wouldn't worry about it. Your response was more serious than this thread...

Badcat1, thanks for the info on this show, looks like you have alot of insight to the TV bizz, i wish there was more info on this show, i guess CBS really wanted to put this show in the HISTORY TRASH CAN!!

Ace,

No problem on sharing information on this "BOMB" Yes
it is very hard to find anyinfo on this show due to the fact that CBS basically made this pilot vanish, i am sure something will
come up in the future but theres basically really no one who cares about this except for you and me and Fuzzy Bear! I will
though ask my friend who worked on the show if he has any pictures or maybe part of the script from the show or maybe a couple pictures! As soon as i see him i will ask him. Hang Tight!!

ACE,

No luck from my friend, he said he has nothing from the pilot and asked me what the hell am i asking him for such things(lol). He did tell me this that might make your day, "The actually pilot was never shown at all. The ads for the pilot were the only thing shown and from really bad press and lots of CBS Exec's PISSED OFF, it was scraped as were the only tapes, this happens alot in the biz, shows are shown to Test Audiences and from there they determine if the pilot will be shown. Of course Advertisement must be sold and the rest of the B.S. One show that almost did not make it to post was "Sienfeld" And the rest is history"

Well thats all for now and ever. Take care
