While watching the previews for next week's episode, I noticed that the narrator said, "...the final 2 episodes of Ed...", not "...the final 2 episodes of the season..." It looks like they're going through with this wedding. Is this last licks for Stuckeyville? :(

I asked that same question, Lauren. I just checked the Net, and I saw one story confirming that this season will be the last for "Ed," while Yahoo's TV news page insists that a decision on whether or not to renew it won't be made until May, but that NBC may cancel it. So a final decision apparently hasn't been made - yet. But it doesn't look good.

Tom Cavanagh and Julie Bowen were on the Today show this morining, but I didn't see it. Darnit - now I wish I had!

I think it is getting cancelled. The move to Friday was the final blow. I've been watching it for 4 years and I keep forgetting to watch it on this new night but I've got to remember to watch the final.

They were on "Today"? :( I missed it! Maybe they said something that might give us a clue.

I checked out NBC.com, and they didn't say anything, so I'm just hoping...

The move to Friday was bad...just plain bad. The show seemed to be slipping, but NBC acted like they wanted to kill it! It couldn't be in a worse time slot for me. Terrible...

Well, we'll see. :D

Ed won't be back for Fall 2004 because it has met its syndication commitments. Ed came very close to getting cancelled last year, but was surprisingly brought back to its original Wednesday Night time slot.

We should all offer NBC ten bucks if they agree to keep it on the air!

Ed might be back because they look like they have a lot of Gap's in their Fall 2004 schedule due to the ending of Friends and Frasier and possible cancellations of Good Morning Miami, Tracy Morgan, Whoopi, American Dreams, etc.

I hope so. I think all those shows are dead in the water except American Dreams...I just read that its coming back. :D That's good for me, at least. It's a really good show.
