"BONNIE AND THE GIRLS"

Bonnie Hunt plays Bonnie Becker, a middle-classed mother of three boys, who's husband just died in a car crash recently. Bonnie has to call on her sister, Renee Carter (Kirstie Alley), and her all-time, since the third grade best friend, Sarah Winters (Laurie Metcalf) to help her raise her three growing boys. Bonnie's sister, Renee is a man-hopping, divorced-and-now-single woman who is desperately seeking a man. Renee has no kids. Sarah, Bonnie's best friend, was never married and actually more of a career person than a regular person. Sarah has no kids. Sarah is a well-known lawyer in Chicago. Bonnie and Renee own and run their widowed mother's, Bernice (Doris Roberts), old beauty salon. Bernice gave the salon to her daughters after her husband died and after she left Chicago to move into a retirement home in Florida. Bonnie's sons's names are Andrew Becker (Jonathon Taylor Thomas), Matthew Becker (Frankie Muniz), and Jacob Becker (Jacob Smith). Andrew is 21 years old, he goes to a local community college, and has a seriously steady girlfriend, Amberleigh Brown (Jodie Sweetin). Bonnie fears one day, Amberleigh and Andrew are going to elope. Bonnie lets Andrew AND Amberleigh live in their now-fixed-up basement. Andrew's big dreams of going to UCLA, after being accepted, were crushed to a pulp, ever since his dad died and the family had barely enough money to pay the bills let alone UCLA. Plus, Bonnie, Matthew, and Jacob wanted and needed him around. Andrew claims he will never forget it when his mother wouldn't allow him to go to UCLA all because of his father's death. Since then, Andrew regrets knowing his father, which makes Bonnie and his borthers very upset. Bonnie's middle son, Matthew "Matt" is 16 years old, and is big into cars, girls, sports, girls, and following in his big bro's foot steps. Matt's antics remind Bonnie a lot like his dad when he was his age. Bonnie's youngest son, Jacob "Jake" is 12 years old, and loves to skateboard, rollerblade, and other things that make Bonnie nervous about him doing. Jake likes being an individual and being unique. He's at the age where he is beginning to notice girls and stuff. Secretly, he thinks is turning into his brothers, who are "girl-crazied". With Jake just entering puberty, Andrew and Amberleigh living in her basement together, and Matt's antics of sneaking out past curfew to go to a party with her trouble-some girlfriend, Heather Mason (Lindsay Lohan), Bonnie needs backup!! So, that's why Sarah and Renee moved in with Bonnie, Jake, Matt, Andrew, and Amberle.

**I know it's kinda like a modern day Full House, but it's opposite (you know?) ***
