Hope and Faith-Season Two
E1: Trick and Fall:
During Faith's "coming-back-into-the-public-eye" play, she trips over a former castmember and embarrasses herself and runs off stage during the scene. After that, during a sister-sister talk with Hope, Faith decides she is too embarrassed to ever act again. Charley has to watch his boss's dog, which turns to disaster, after the dog pees on Sydney's brand-new homecoming dress.
E2: Happy Dance:
Justin decides to manipulate his overly-wise parents into believing opposite parent is allowing him to get a new bike. Hayley and her boyfriend, Carlos, decide to go the dance that Sydney is dying to go to, but she hasn't been asked yet.
E3: Dilemmas of the Youth: Part One
With Hope and Charley away on a romantic, kid-free weekend, Faith is left to watch the kids. Hayley and Justin realize Faith is letting Sydney do whatever she wants. Hayley and Justin getting upset by this, they decide to buy two bus tickets to Cincinnati to Grandpa and Grandma Shanowski's house. Will Faith be able to find the two without ruining her sister and bro-in-law's weekend??
E4: Dilemmas of the Youth: Part Two
Faith and Sydney are going crazy trying to find Hayley and Justin before Hope and CHarley get back home. Hayley and Justin make it to their grandparents's home. Charley's mom calls home to let them know where the kids are, as Charley and Hope come home early and Faith and Sydney are gone.
E5: Dilemmas of the Youth: Part Three
Hayley and Justin are grounded for running away, Charley and Hope are furious with Faith. Sydney sneaks out past curfew and gets caught.
E6: Laughter Is No Longer:
Hope decides to make Faith get a job. Faith goes to six interviews and gets rejected to all of them. Sydney enters Hayley and Charley into a father-daughter competion at the recretion dept.'s picnic. Hayley and CHarley can't wait to see Syd's face when they tell her they won.
E7: Homeless For the holidays:
Hayley decides to sign up herself, her aunt, her parents, and her siblings to be a part of a group of citizens who have to spend the Thanksgiving weekend in a homeless shelter, but Faith and Sydney frown upon the idea. Charley and Hayley carry a deep decision with a homeless man (John Goodman), who tells them (and eventually the whole family) his life story.
E8: Tears From God:
With a thunderstorm in process, leaving Justin, Sydney, Hope, and Charley stranded at a gas station until the storm dies down, Hayley and Faith sit and carry a good talk. Faith tells Hayley she surprisingly is thankful that Hayley signed up her family up for the homeless thing. Faith, still feeling sorry for him, plans to help that homeless man, Henry(John Goodman) out greatly, by donating 1/3 of her money to him.
E9: Mothers and Their Mothers:
With Faith and Hope's mother, Sharon, (Betty White) visiting, Sydney decides Hope is preoccupied with her own mother to notice that Sydney stuck out to go to a concert with her two best friends 80 miles away from home after Hope said No. Sydney gets caught (not by her parents, Faith, or her siblings) by her grandmother. Grandma Fairfield and Sydney have a all night chit-chat at the kitchen table.
E10: Good and Faithful:
Hope, her mom Sharon, and Sydney decide to spend the day at the mall shopping for Christmas presents, as Justin helps Charley with a leaky bathtub. Faith and Hayley get Henry a set of clean and new clothes, Faith, Henry, and Hayley decide to go to the library and do some research. Henry confesses his ex-wife, Donna (Bebe Neuwirth) divorced him and took all his money, his house, and his kids 15 years ago.
E11: Finding the Ex:
Faith is on a mission for find Donna, Henry's ex, and work out the matter so Henry has some of his things back. Charley and Justin take on Hope and Sydney, and Grandma Sharon and Hayley at a game of pictionary and win. Will the women handle Charley and Justin's gloating?
E12: Tired and Settled:
Faith crashs on the couch after settling the Henry-Donna thing. Hope and Sharon decide to throw a small "party" for Faith for being soo concerned. Charley's brother, Andrew (tim allen) and Charley's nephew, David (david faustino) show up. David confides in Charley that he is gonna ask Faith out to dinner.
E13: The Asking:
David asks Faith out. Faith agrees. Charley and Hope feel weird seeing them together. Andrew takes Justin to a baseball game and ends up getting drunk--which makes Hope furious and forbids Andrew to ever take her kids anywhere alone. Charley gets upset by this.
E14: The Doing:
Sharon decides to go back home, as David and Faith are found sleeping together in Faith's room. Andrew apologizes to Justin, Charley, and especially to Hope. Hope forgives Andrew.
