Mmmm Yummy Candy !

Does anyone else crack up everytime they show the episode " The Party Spoiler" where the girl say's " Mmmm Yummy Candy" ? What was the point of her being so overly enthusiastic ? I noticed she closed her eyes when she took a piece like she was in heaven....LOL....I guess the word " yummy" was the thing for girls to say in the early 60's. " Isn't this the yummiest purse you ever did see" or " I heard it was the yummiest ever" . Yummy must have came in as a close second phrase for sitcom teen girls to " If I so and so doesn't ask me to the dance" or "If so and so see's me like this I'll just die"

I suppose her emphasis on how "yummy" the candy was made Lumpy's fake piece seem all the more terrible when he bit into it. He was the perfect partyer to get the bad one!

That scene people referred to here, with Lumpy biting into that piece of soap-filled candy always cracks me up, too. As does the shot right before it, with the girl biting into a real piece of candy and reacting as if she was in heaven! Mmmmmmmmm!!!

Saw this episode that aired... It was okay... I thought the girl was funny with her 'yummy candy'....

Wally just irritated me to no end though and deserved to have his party spoiled the way he treated Beaver....

Even Ward and June were a bit annoying and push Wally to invite Beaver... If I was Beaver, I would have been like, no!!
