Wally Dating Shirley

In the episode I watched this afternoon, Wally takes Shirley to the prom - that annoying, know-it-all girl from his Driver's Ed. class, who I wanted to smack upside the head.:boxing:Wally looked like he felt the same way about her in that episode! (I think this is the same girl anyway...) Why in the world didn't he take either Mary Ellen or Julie instead???:confused:

Taking Julie out cost Wally a lot of money at the White Fox and Mary Ellen Rogers was a no-show during the entire last season.:dollar: :dollar: :dollar:

I think Wally dated different girls because June & Ward thought he was too young to be serious about a particular one. I usually think of Mary Ellen Rogers first when the subject of Wally's girlfriends comes up, though.
