Just curious to see if any of you have taped leave it to beaver episodes?
I myself started taping the show bac in April starting with episode 1 and finished with episode 234 in September.
I missed a few episodes in there but I will get them when they show them again.
All in all it took me 15 tapes.
I did the same with Happy Days.
Anyone else do anything like this?
I did this because they are never going to release these shows on DVD. I mean whats up with that? They release shows on dvd that were on tv like 2 years ago but they wont release the classic shows.

Do you remember what season those episodes are in that you are missing?
I do not feel like looking through all my tapes for them. Maybe I have those episodes.
Also, what was the name of the episode where Beaver lets the bum in the house and he takes a bath?

ya gotta label them as you tape them...thats what i've been doing. wally's practical joke is in the last season, it should be playing right about now but tvland is skipping, again. that epi when they let jeff in is "beaver's good deed" ;)

I also noticed at first that LITB was skipping Wally's Practical Joke the first few times through the rerun cycle, but I have seen it there at least once. That ep holds a couple of "lasts" among LITB eps. It was the last ep ever aired on ABC primetime when it was rerun 9/12/63, and it was the last original ep to feature Richard Deacon as Fred Rutherford, leaving him just one regular job to go to for the next few seasons, Mel Cooley on The Dick Van Dyke Show.
