Let's face it, fellow GOP moviefans, there have only been a few big stars who identify with us on the political spectrum. Who is your favorite, of all time, based on their body of work?

Democrats can vote too.

You're totally right! Everybody in Hollywood today is liberal.

Well, I think you can take an educated guess of my opinion by checking out my avatar, SN, location...:D

Jimmy Stewart
Bing Crosby
Bob Hope
Lucille Ball
Ronald Reagan

Yeah, them, but my vote went to Reagan because, well, I love him

I love Bob and Jimmy too. :)

And Bing! His line in White Christmas was to die for:
Answering the question 'What would be a novelty for Vermonters?'
Danny Kaye: I don't know, maybe we could dig up a Democrat
Bing: No, they'd stone him!

I actually didn't know Lucy was Republican. That's cool.

Hey, I'll even admit that the latter three are very good in their profession. I saw "Mystic River" last month and their performances made me forget both Penn and Robbins were flaming liberals. And Sarandon always does great with her roles. I don't even know if you can call Garofalo an actress. Although if there was an award for sarcasm in the most motion pictures, she would take it.

Isn't Mel Gibson a Republican? If so, he's my favorite. Of your list I'd go with Bruce Willis, and Kelsey Grammer.

John Candy supported The Conservative Party in Canada, if you want to include him on your list. :)

Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is an awesome actor and he has a lot of cool movies. I can't believe he even won the recall election in California. At least he is doing a better job right now than Gray Davis from what I hear.

Yeah, that is fortunate. Because, although he has made some good movies, I wouldn't want to be in the same party as that guy.
