I just watched this movie last night. I hadn't seen it in years- since I was a little kid. Anyways, I almost completely forgot about the part where Dumbo and that mouse get totally wasted on alcohol and are hallucinating and seeing all pink elephants. This movie came out in 1941 and I was thinking if it was released in theatres now, would they still have that part in there!? Maybe back then it wasn't a big deal (maybe it was- I wasn't around then to know) I mean that seems like it would have a lot of controversy. Personally, it doesn't bother me (I find it rather funny!) but some people might be upset that a disney cartoon would show them getting totally wasted. So, what are your thoughts about it?

Back then Disney animated films were made for adults as well as children. They were for general audiences.

Disney movies have always been for everyone.
But their recent ones havent looked that good.
And whats worse.... the FINAL "traditionally" animated movie comes out in the summer "Home On The Range".
After that.... its all CGI
(but not necessarilly Pixar)

back then, things weren't so pc, everyone could enjoy things instead of every kids movie being dumbed down

I have the VHS version of "Dumbo". I watched it and it was good. I also have the Disneyland album in which Timothy the Mouse tells the story.
