I've just learned that Fo has given a full season order to Arrested Development. This is great news. I was worried that this show would be cancelled due to the ratings. I guess the suits believe in the show. That just tells u how good the show is. Watch for Liza Minnelli and the Fonz in future episodes.

That is good news. "Arrested Development" is a great show. It deserves the support of the Network.

It's surprising. If it keeps getting lower though in the ratings, I doubt they'll keep it on Sundays, if that is the case. I bet they'll move it to Wednesdays at 8:30, when Stan Hooper gets canned. Here is some additional info:

After three episodes, the Imagine TV/20th Century Fox TV skein has averaged a 3.0 rating/7 share among adults 18-49 and only 6.8 million viewers.

"The show didn't get the pickup because of its ratings," Imagine TV prexy David Nevins said. "We're incredibly fortunate that Fox is hanging in with us. There's nothing like a back nine order to signal to the press, to all the people inside the building at Fox and to the viewing public that this is a show they can believe in."

Fox Entertainment prexy Gail Berman said Fox has no plans to move "Arrested" from its Sunday slot but will "take every opportunity that makes sense to expose the show to as many people as possible." A New Year's Eve marathon of four repeat episodes is already in the works, with the cast expected to shoot wraparound segments for the event.

Interesting. Thanks Pav. I'll be glad to see the episodes I missed. This show is fantastic. I love it. I finally got to see it last night and it's not laugh out loud hilarious, but it's funny. It surprises me that it's not being watched.

I personally think it just doesn't fit on Sunday's. Especially after Malcolm in the Middle. The Sunday lineup needs some work. AD should follow Bernie Mac and MITM should move to an earlier time slot. Maybe that would help the show. Arrested Development I think might do good paired after That 70s Show, or elsewhere on the lineup.

Yeah, i think its doing a little better now as far as ratings go. it's done better than King of the Hill the last couple weeks. and this Sunday, Henry Winkler and Liza Minnelli are guest starring! clips here (http://www.buzztone.com/arresteddev/)

I thought this show was going to be stupid but it's not. I think all the characters are funny! I especially like how George Michael has a crush on his cousin! That whole situation is just too funny!!!
