I saw the Cat in the Hat today. I thought it was pretty bad. You have to be a die hard Mike Myers fan to like this movie. It doesn't stay true to the book. Mike Myers annoyed me horribley. It felt like he was doing Saturday Night Live skits and Austin Powers impressions. I think the other acting was great & it was beautiful to look at but other all I was just disapointed. The Grinch like 10 times better. Go watch that instead. C 75% **/****
I am seeing Gothika tomorrow night. Anyone see it? Was it any good?
Heres a weird thing-I was with my mom when we bought the tickets & she bought two student tickets and the movie is rated R and they told her to make sure they had their IDs. What would it matter if someone over 17 had boughten the tickets? I hope they don't check our ticket stubs. Usually they don't. I saw the matrix there a few weeks ago when my friends mom had gotten the tickets for us & they didn't say anything to the 3 of us.

Well unfortunately you will hear it because everybody here is entitled to their own opinion (Within reason, of course).

I just dont get where people are saying ti's bad from.
I saw it last weekend with my 8 year old and it was really funny.
People need to put in perspective that this movie is geared for kids and is supposed to be stupid humor. There are small parts for adults in it but if you go into this movie expecting "TITANIC" quality you are already in for a surprise.

I would never see either of those movies.Gothika is not my cup of tea and the only reason I would ever see the crapfest that is The Cat In The Hat would be Dokata Fanning and she's just doing her old obsessive compulsive little girl shtick.haha so funny....not.
