There's so many things I could say but I just keep to myself...it's like the words are on the tip of my tongue but I can't get them out, it's awful :( Instead I just let people think I'm this quiet little nerd kid :lol: That's what they all think, too, they don't get to know me...and it's my fault :(

Yeah, I know. I remember seeing it on the news and junk, it's crazy. My mom, aunts and older cousins went but they wouldn't let us. I think maybe my dad was like doing something like...guarding or whatever he does. I stayed at my grandmas and could hear the music from there. It was still exciting though even if I didn't go because it was like RIGHT THERE where you live...and I could see all the blimps and everything :lol:

OMG! That is seriously crazy. :eek: Yep, I know what you mean about stuff being right there where you live...Every year, this one town about 2 hours from where I live has a HUGE state fair, and it attracts people in the 6 figures and runs for a little over a week and it even attracts people as far away as California! :eek: (I went to it one year and saw a bunch of cars in the parking lot with CA license plates)

This same town has the Norsk Hostfest every year in October, for about a week, and it's celebrity-studded for one day of the week (I think?). Bob Newhart and Paul Anika were at the recent Hostfest they had last month, but I didn't go because it's Norwegian stuff and it doesn't really interest me, you know what I mean?

And you can't deny Big Boy makes awesome food, too! (I'm not sure if you have one up where you live...I know they were popular in the 50's/60's but there's not as many of them around here now) Every time I go there (which is maybe three times a year), there's always a longass line. :lol:
