Where in the world is Jerry Seinfeld?

Just out of curiosity, why hasn't Jerry done another sitcom or any movies?

I'd say sitcoms are out, where do you go from Seinfeld, that's a high note that's hard to do again.

He did his film, Comedian (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0328962/). It showed him remaking his comedy act after all his success. He did full club stand up, all new material, and supposedly tried to "start over."
Comics usually build on their material for years, he wanted to build a new act.
His newer stuff is different, he is now getting older and way more family [kids] oriented. Before, he was almost anti that kind of stuff.

He did do that run of American Express ads :rolleyes:

He'll prob cash in on a special here & there, but don't look for too much stuff from Mr. Seinfeld, I think he's all into spending his million$ and doing the family thing. Maybe when his kid gets older he'll get pumped again.

Last I heard he got thrown in jail so that might be part of it.

He did have a movie not long ago - Comedian, sort of a documentary I think. I havnt seen it, anyone know if it is worthwhile? Has anyone seen a tape/movie by Jerry put out probably pre-seinfeld and it was pretty bad.

As a fan, it's worth watching.
Basically, it's a behind the scenes-docu type thing that along with some other comics, shows him trying to build his new stuff.

I could've sworn he once said he never wanted to do movies because he doesn't trust the scripts.

If you need any kind of indication about Jerry's current whereabouts, do a Seinfeld search on Ebay- You'll find many tickets for sale, for his stand-up tour around the country. I don't think he's doing as many shows anymore, but he's definitely out there.
