I must admit that "Life with Bonnie" is not all that bad. At least compared to most of the awful stuff on TV these days. But i cannot understand this love of Bonnie Hunt. Everyone from critics to comics to everyone else thinks she is the best comedienne since Lucille Ball. I for the life of me just don't see it.

Well, I wouldn't say she's Lucy, but she is one TALENTED lady!
You have to remember that she writes, directs, produces, acts, and even SINGS! She's amazing, in my opinion. I think that's why she gets all her publicity!
BONNIE ROCKS!
Later, dude.

She is an OK comedienne as far as deadpan comics go, but as writer, director, producer, singer, she is embarrassingly overrated. My friend worked for her a decade ago, and has told me all sorts of horror stories (all of which gave me more laughs than she has, incidentally).
I must admit that thanks to her megalomania and her negligible skills behind the camera, I find "Life with Bonnie" all bad.

She's also a great looking lady too.

I agree why is everyone so crazy about this show? It really is not that funny? I do think Bonnie is funny, and I am a huge fan of David Allen Grier, but I just don't get it?
And for Gods sake can they turn the automated laugh track down! There is a laugh after every sentence, it is really annoying.
I think it has a chance, but they better make some changes.

LWB is only ok in my opinon but Bonnie Hunt is one of the most brilliant, kind-hearted comedianes alive today, she has been around for decades and has produced some of the best material around. Her directing and producing skills are unmatched by anyone on tv. The reason why LWB seems so uneven is because a large portion of the series is complete and total IMPROV, Bonnie is known for her love of improv and thats why the show seems off-balance, but i give Bonnie credit for being able to pull it off so brillantly.
Bonnie Hunt has earned respect because she has been in the industry for years and has done much acclamied work. She has also attempted several times before to get a hit series, with "Grand", "The Bonnie Hunt Show" and the BRILLANT "Davis Rules". A large part of Bonnies popualrtiy with critics and industry folks is that she is at least attempting to do something original and never done before, with a largley improved sit-com. So i say to Bonnie Hunt, BRAVO to you.
Riff, I would just love to hear some of those behind-the-scenes horror stories...
BTW, I'm a huge Bonnie Hunt fan. Great show...

I think her sitcoms are just OK, but you gotta see her on talk shows....and appreciate mature humor.(example of immiture is Amy Poehler). In the 23 years I've been watching talk shows, she is my favorite guest.
She's one of the few women who really knows HOW to be funny.
