Patrick reluctantly agrees to let Alex pose as macho action hero Kyle Britton's (Steven Weber) girlfriend — in order to stave off rumors that Kyle's gay — and then to stage a phony breakup. But an open mic backstage at a talk show could threaten to out Alex and Kyle's sham relationship.

If Steven Weber's manic performances on "Wings" are any indication, this guest appearance should be the ultimate parody - intentional, of course - of every action hero that ever was. And future ones as well. Bring it on!! :D

Let me be the first to congratulate Steven Weber on a scene-stealing, scenery-chewing, over-the-top performance as a gay action hero! He can still hold his own with today's professional sitcom nuts - even Danny Comden! ;) The surprise appearance at the end from Peri Gilpin playing herself playing Alex was a nice, ironic touch!

Once again, Danny Comden had me peeing in my pants last night. This guy is hilarious. Finally, they're giving him insane stuff to do. He knows how to bring it. I like where they went with the show...less cheesy relationship stuff and more comedy.
