The spirit of Halloween takes on a frightfully dull edge when Alex learns that director Leonard Heckman (Robert Englund, Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street films) is planning on screening her first film — a poorly done, B-rated slasher picture. But Patrick and Stevie find themselves in a witch's brew of trouble when they try to stop the quirky director from exhibiting the movie. Meanwhile, Cheri finds herself attracted to a cute guy dressed as a bum for Halloween — not realizing that the man is really homeless. oh Cheri...

I saw it and liked it. I liked Stevie's costume, Static Cling. Cheri taking a real bum to a party was funny too.

Stevie eating the malt balls and red vines had me cracking up. Good stunt casting with freddy. I think this show has got legs.

Casting Robert Englund as the hapless director was funny enough, but having him poke out from behind a cutout of his alter ego Freddy Kreuger was a stroke of genius! The "Nightmare On Elm Street" movies are pretty gruesome, but you have to give credit to a guy like Englund for being so willing to laugh at the role that made him famous.
By the way, I'm Steve, and I'm new here. I'm new to "I'm With Her" as well, having tuned in only after four episodes had already been aired. It's a cute show, and I think it has the potential to get even better. :)
