I am a huge Wendt fan and just wanted to hear what others think about him. Personal opinion, 1-10 scale..whatever.:)

I dont know that much about him. I like him as an actor and I know that he is really smart.

he was great as Norm, but i've seen him in other work (movies and the sort) and didn't really like him in those. I guess he's just so pigeonheld as Norm because he did such a good job for 11 years that it's hard to break out of it.

But I think it'll be even harder for Kelsey Grammar when Frasier ends next spring

He was really good as Norm on Cheers. I did like him on West Wing too. It was very different to see him acting Presidential and dramatic. He does both comedy and drama well. I'm not a huge fan, but he's an okay guy.

About 7- he was great in Cheers, and made Sabrina a better show- and that beer ad he does. Doesn't he do some voices for animated things along with Ratzenberger (sp?)

He represented a beer swilling man who had no family values, but he did a great job at it. 7

I've only seem him on "Cheers", "Sabrina" and "The Naked Truth" (Which is coming to WE next week).I watched "Madigen Men" too but I didn't see the episodes with him (he joined mid-way through the 1st and only season).Norm and Cliff (Or just Norm being that Ratzenberger is on 8SR) should be the next "Cheers" characters to get a spinoff IMHO now that "Frasier" is ending.

Yes. I really want to see Wendt back in television. He once said that he didnt think the fans were ready to see him in another role, which is why he sticks to theatre and movies. He was just in a film called "King of the Ants". But they did do something on him on Crank Yankers the other night, it was funny. George come back to television please!:D
