View Full Version : Eliot's hair was already wet! Did anyone else notice?

In this week's episode, when Eliot was at seaworld, in the shot where she gets splashed her hair was already wet! I thought I was seeing things, so I rewound my tape and sure enough:
Eliot hair dry, then the shot of the water splashing up, then back to Eliot -- hair already wet! -- as the wave pours over her!

This is a very well written show and I hate to see it start to go downhill due to poor production values! They really should have dried her hair first before doing another take. I know that's time consuming, but if they are going to do this show, they should do it RIGHT!

I saw someone else's post, about the show not being as "cartoony" as it was at first and this sort of ties in. Quirky, gimmicky shots take lots of production time, but that is the cornerstone of this show. If they start compromising now, this early in the season, where does it go from here?

Woa, easy cowboy.
One little gaff and you're all over the production values?
I thought the whole sea lion thing was done pretty impressively to tell you the truth.

And since when is anything but good writing the cornerstone of any worthwhile show?

This was a small mistake admist a bunch of great other visual gags.

And the verbal humor isn't so bad now either, is it?
