Country hitmaker Clint Black joins ABC Television's latest hit sitcom, "Hope & Faith," in a guest-starring role in November sweeps. In the episode, entitled "Hope & Faith Get Randy," Black plays Randy Richter, Hope's (Faith Ford) high school flame who unceremoniously dumped her 18 years ago. Faith (Kelly Ripa) thinks the only way for her sister to "get closure" is to show Randy what a great life Hope has, married with kids. But when sparks unexpectedly fly between Randy and Faith, Hope is surprised by her own reaction. This episode's airdate is TBD in November. "Hope & Faith" airs Fridays (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
In its first two weeks, "Hope & Faith" is ranked as the time period leader in the coveted Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 demos. The series is produced by Touchstone Television.
Clint Black will release his debut single for Equity Music Group on October 13. The single, titled "Spend My Time," is the title track to Black's debut CD for the label, scheduled for release in February 2004.
