When Dolly Parton sings I'll Always Love You, I just melt, she has a voice like an angel, she always had a excellent voice, when she gave permission for Whitney Houston singering it, Houston just ripped to peices, sort of like Roseann doing The sttar Bagle Banner.,Dolly is still the queen f country music to me. A word to Whitney, don't do no more songs by Dolly. I have likd Dolly ever scince she had her show on way back in 1960's.

I've never heard of Dolly Parton, but I have the song "Nine to Five" on cassette and I haven't watched the movie in a long time.

You've never heard of Dolly Parton, yet you have one of her songs and saw a movie of hers? What?

Who cares! I've never watch another Dolly Parton film called "The Best Little Worehouse in Texas". I heard the song on the radio one time was with Kenny Rogers called "Islands In the Stream". That's a good one.

What?!!!!? You are beyond confusing me here. You said you've never heard of Dolly, yet you have. This is what started the confusion. And now this post doesn't make any sense.

That's a funny movie, plus it's based on a true story. The guy Dom DeLuise plays is supposed to be Marvin Zindler, one of the guys on our local ABC channel.

I love Dolly Parton's voice. She's been out of the public eye lately. She used to be on award's shows, talk shows, etc.
Wonder what's up with her?

I do like Whitney's version a lot, but her version does lack the heart that Dolly puts into hers

she did a lot of promotion for the Halos And Horns album that came out last year. She also did some Fourth Of July specials.

There's a tribute album coming out very soon.

I guess she's been around and I just haven't seen her. It's just that before, she was very visible whether I was looking for her or not. She was everywhere.
