Do you think that it's a good idea to put more recent shows on Nick? Like Roseanne or Full house. Yes? No?

Yes...TVLand for older sitcoms and N@N for more recent ones is perfect in my opinion. If only N@N had a better schedule though...

No. most of these shows still air on local affiliates and have recently aired on other cable networks like TBS.

I don't mind them showing more of the modern clasics, especially those that don't always air on other stations. I just wish that they would have more of a variety instead of Cosby Show, Cheers, and Three's Company all the time and give shows a chance to grow and develop an audience and not shove them into a late nighte time slot after only a couple of weeks, like they did to Wings and Perfect Strangers.
I also wouldn't mind seeing N@N split from Nickelodeon and become a full 24-hour network. They could air many more modern classics that way. TV Land can keep the older classics from the 50's to the 70's.

I don't have a problem with Cosby Show and Cheers if they reduced the airings and let others have a little bit of limelight. For example, here's a schedule (Usuing the current shows minus Kids Say because that isn't a sitcom) that could work nicely.
9:00PM Family Ties
9:30PM Cosby Show
10:00PM Three's Company
10:30PM Cheers
11:00PM Wings
11:30PM Coach
12:00AM All in the Family
12:30AM Perfect Strangers
1:00AM Head of the Class
1:30AM Family Ties
2:00AM Cosby Show
2:30AM Three's Company
3:00AM Cheers
3:30AM Wings
4:00AM Coach
4:30AM All in the Family
5:00AM Perfect Strangers
5:30AM Head of the Class
Basically you'd have one episode a night, and a repeat in latenight if you miss it the first time around. And this way, no show gets screwed by having it's first airing at like 5 in the morning. Now if you had double takes, you'd run into that problem. Just watch.

10:00PM Cosby Show

1:00AM Wings
1:30AM Wings
2:00AM Coach
2:30AM Coach
3:00AM All in the Family

4:00AM Perfect Strangers

See, the problem isn't the shows, it's the way they're handled. Roseanne really shouldn't be coming to N@N, but I don't have a huge problem with it. I do, however, with Full House. It's too childish to be put on the N@N. Most people who watch N@N are older than 6. It would fit 100% better on say, Disney or ABC Family. Especially ABC Family since it seems to be Olsen twin central (Unfortunately).

I agree completely. I have no problem with them airing Cosby Show, Cheers, Coach, etc. They just need to balance out the schedule better.
Roseanne shouldn't be coming for another few years. And I agree, Full House would be much better suited on ABC Family (especially) or Disney.

Yes, but some of the choices for shows stink. I mean Full House??? Give me a break!

Not really. I think shows like Roseanne, Wings, Full House, Coach are too modern to be considered classics.

I can't wait for Roseanne! I don't think just cuz its modern, that means it cant be classic.

I agree. That would make more people happy, since N@N could play a better variety of shows.

I'm kind of mad that Roseanne is coming to N@N. Here's the reason: my local FOX and UPN station are going to start airing it soon and so is Oxygen. That's at least five episodes of Roseanne a day (if N@N does doubletakes and if all of the other networks only air it once). That's just too much Roseanne, imo.

 It's going to be on 4 times a day on Oxygen and N@N. So that's 8 airings just on cable.

I'm happy that Roseanne will be coming. It's going to be leaving TBS and I don't have any other channels that air it. Even though it will probably be edited a lot, I'll still be glad to see it.

No. I think Nick at Nite should have stayed with the REAL classics and its heritage. People seem to say that classics of the 1950's to 1970's are just for TV Land, but I disagree. I think the classics should air on both Nick at Nite and TV Land (like it was to begin with) because it will allow more classic tv shows to air. TV Land obviously can't air more than what it can handle - - - and that's where Nick at Nite comes to play. Ever since Nick at Nite literally deserted the classics, there has been shows from the 1950's, 1960's, & 1970's disappearing like crazy.
I think TBS/TNN/ABC Family and some others should be the ones airing those modern classics instead of Nick at Nite. Nick at Nite was strictly for the original classics and it should be that way.

Although I like Full House and Roseanne.
They dont belong on N@N, quite yet.
and Full House is DEFINATELY not suitable for N@N, ever.
Its' too childish IMO.
I think N@N should stay, but have a variety of shows every night.
Keep TVLand the way it is.
Make a TVLand2 with the "modern tv classics" and bring back shows like ALF, Diff'rent Strokes, Silver Spoons, The Facts of Life.
THEN, have N@N have random episodes every night, of random shows.
Like.... food fight night.
or, lost puppy/kitten night.
or something like that, using the shows from TVLand and TVLand2.
Ohh yeah, and come up with a better name than TVLand2.
Maybe....
Televisionism.

I do mind them adding Roseanne and full house to the schedule. To me what would be perfect is if they would play only 1 episode of each show, so by twelve we could get 6 shows in.

Yes but rarer stuff like Townies or It's Like, You Know.I actually really like to see the latter again.
