What movie(s) did you look foward to seeing for awhile only to be disappointed in the end? Movies that didn't live up to your expectations.

I went to the theater to see 'Matrix Reloaded'. What an ass-burner that was.

I also saw 'Minority Report' at the theater and hated it, but to a lesser degree than Matrix Re.

'Gangs of New York' was boring to me, but I was home, so I had the option of not continuing.

I also remember everyone going wild over 'There's Something About Mary', so I went to the theater and regretted it.

The most recent one was "Freddy vs. Jason". Then again my taste in the horror genre has changed considerably over the years.

Natural Born Killers...I hate Oliver Stone for ruining an excellent story by Quentin Tarantino.

Hmmm.

Theater disappointments:

"Eyes Wide Shut" was a complete crapfest, I should have seen that coming.

"Hannibal" was terrible-and I didn't think the book was so great, so I don't know what I expected.

I had higher hopes than what I got for "Unbreakable."
Just left me with the feeling I had been shortchanged in some way, gypped.

"15 Minutes" I honestly thought might suck- and it did- but I held out for some glimmer of hope because of Deniro.

Oh my God, dlemond, yes!! I expected more. I was waiting for something to happen, some kind of climax, but NOTHING!! Now, I like Nicole but when she was talking about her dreams, BORING!!! And what was that whole thing about Tom telling everybody "I'm a doctor" when he wanted information from somebody? You're a doctor, so what?!! No wonder Tom & Nic were sworn to secrecy before the movie came out. They probably knew how much it sucked, didn't want to talk about it, and just told everybody they were sworn to secrecy!!

People usually think I'm crazy when I say this, but I couldn't stand the Godfather. How this movie is considered the greatest mob movie of all time, and the second greatest movie of all time is beyond me. I thought it was boring!! Also I found all the Indiana Jones movies to be overrated, especially the Temple Of Doom. It should have been called the Temple Of Crap!

Signs. The ending totally sucked.
Independence Day. I never understood all the hoopla over that movie either.

Any film that the critics proclaim is the "Best Comedy/Action/Family/Drama/Animated/Action Comedy/Summer Comedy/Summer Family/Horror/Romantic Comdey/Picture Of The Year."

When everyone tells me to see a movie, I know I'm not going to like it.
