The Two Towers book was sooooooooooo much better than the movie! Fist they leave Tom Bombadil out of the first one, then they leave out Quickbeam! what the hell Quickbeam was the best part of those books even if he was only in one chapter.

I got it today, I didn't see it in the cinema and haven't watched it yet- apart from special features (see the short movie-kinda funny). Usually I'd wait for the extended release like the first movie. But for sum reason a shop yesterday was selling them early, and the papers had it advertised, even though the tv ads were the dvd released for today! I even got the making of the trilogy book for £2.99- it says when Peter Jackson first contacted make-up and costume people and props about making a movie, he had The Hobbit in mind at the time. I hope he makes a Hobbit movie- it'll happen sooner or later, with or without Jackson though- more likely with him, after he does king kong.
