Commercials And Theme Music

I'm starting to get sick of this. Can't anybody compose a theme for their commercials anymore? Why am I hearing the Leave It To Beaver theme song on one commercial, Rock And Roll by Led Zeppelin on another commercial, Like A Rock by Bob Segar on another? The list goes on and on. Why can't these companies use their imagination and make their own music for a change?

Well. I think the theme song for Foxwoods casino is pretty clever. But in generaly I agree that the theme songs in commercials need some work.

I also heard 'The Dick Van Dyke Show' theme in a commercial recently, I've seen it alot but I don't remember what it's for.

Anyway You Want It - By Journey is played on a Ford Motor car dealership commercial.

I am so sick of hearing the IDOJ theme during that Tropicana commercial especially when I'm watching Bewitched. Can't I get through one episode without having to listen to that crappy song? You can tell I hate IDOJ.

Oh, I'm total anti-jeannie. I just do not like the show or Barbara Eden. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing Liz in Barbara's costume I bet Liz would look 10 times better in it. :grineyes:

I saw commercials that had songs to it. JCPenny had the KC and the Sunshine Band song "That's the Way I Like It" and the one that I remember from the Nike Air Jordan commercial back in 1990 had Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny before starring in "Space Jam" in 1996. That has a Looney Tunes theme. I also saw a commercial with Godzilla and the other monster had a "Courtship of Eddie's Father" theme song. That's funny. I don't remember the name of that commercial. Here's one thing. I saw an Electrasol commercial featured "The Jetsons" theme song. They did the same theme song from the old AOL many years ago. And again from "The Jetsons" cereal back in the 90's and the PSA for stop pollution featured clips from "Jetsons: The Movie". I got one final thought came to mind. I saw the Honda commercial back in either 1998 or 1999 had the "Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse" theme song. I love that commercial.
