I just hope that when Pop goes, it takes Pop-Country with it.
We need less Shania, Faith, and LeeAnn, and more Hank III, Wayne Hancock, and Rev. Horton Heat on the radio!!!
And Hank III... Half his live set is traditional country, half is hardcore metal.. .so he's good either way!

At least Shania and Faith have hot bods... But I think that's part of the problem. What's with the lyrics to "This kiss, this kiss--incredible." It sounds awkward. Who the hell wrote that song???

Well, from what I scrounged up, the song was written by three women.
This just goes to show... in Country music, the only way women should be involved is when they leave the singer and take his dog, causing him to drink alot so he can forget her. :D

Yeah, what Nirvana said... there is no way mainstream pop can die. There will always be Madonna, Britney, Michael, and pop bands like Simple Plan, and Good Charlotte are at a popularity high right now.
I don't think bubblegum pop died either, it just matured. 'NSYNC, Christina, Britney, and Mandy are still here. I think bubblegum pop is going to get popular again, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohen, and Avril Lavigne are coming out with new albums.

Yeah true, at least they weren't this 'bubblegum sappy' pop though. I can stand mainstream pop- that I don't mind. It's this Lindsay Lohen-Hilary Duff-BSB-O-Town crap I can't stand.

Gawd I hate half the songs that are on the radio now. Simple Plan, GC, etc... I want more Britney, Christina, NSYNC, etc.. I love pop!:D
pop is short for POPULAR. One form of "pop" may be dying, but another form is taking its place.
