late 70s all the way through early 90s

(2). Wings
(3). Married ... With Children
(4). Ellen
(5). Boy Meets World
(6). Ned & Stacey
(7). Step by Step
(8). Get a Life
(9). The Simpsons
(10). Dinosaurs
(11). The John Larroquette Show
(12). The Early Years of Friends
(13). George & Leo

Followed by the 1960's which really seemed to know what "Situation" comedy meant. Then the 1970's for being groundbreaking and funny at the same time. Then the 1950's, because of The Honeymooners. And then the 1980's. And last and definately least, the 2000's. I can't find a good sitcom anywhere, now that Andy Richter Controls the Universe is gone.

2. 1970s (Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, Happy Days, Bob Newhart Show)
3. 1990s/2000s (Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, According to Jim, Seinfeld)
4. 1980s (Cheers, Cosby Show, Newhart)
5. 1950s (I Love Lucy)
