What board would discussions of this show be allowed? People win money and beat other people, so that's sort of a Game Show. They use video tapes from REAL people, so that's a Reality Show element. It's still aired/making new episodes/seasons, so it's a "Current" show.

Okay, Reality shows. Now that I've established it's on-topic HERE, let's discuss it.

Does anyone else think that mostly stupid videos win nowadays?

Who likes the "Slo-mo Gizmo"? I do, I think it's funny. What's your favorite clip from it?

Which is the best; the ones with Bob Saget, the ones with that Man and Woman both hosting, or the current ones with Tom Bergeron? I like the current ones with Tom Bergeron, he's pretty funny except when he's talking to the families at the end that win; he's kinda weird there.

What other (new) features do you like?

I'd think right here where you put it would be best. I think it would be considered more of a reality show.

I liked the ones with Bob Saget. I liked his dry, self-deprecating sense of humor.
I hate the videos that are obviously staged! Like when someone is standing there fishing(why are they video-taping that anyway!) and they slip and fall in the water. WHOA!! I didn't see that coming!!!:bonk:
That's why I usually just like the ones with kids or animals, because they are usually not faked. Those, and wedding videos where someone passes out. Those are funny! But why would you let someone send in the tape? That would be embarrassing!

Bob Saget all the way. I still remember some from those years. The cat being flipped over by a bird. The video tape dominos..

I don't really like the show.I used to but I don't anymore. It's actually one of the few "reality" shows I don't like.Actually I don't even consider it a reality show because it has an audience and a studio, meaning AI and AJ aren't reality shows either. They are more like "Talent Contests".BB and Paradise Hotel are reality shows because they only use the audience and studio when they have to get rid of somebody.

I don't remember about it much when Saget did it. I DO remember one time when Candace Cameron and the dude that did "Aladdin's" voice in the Disney movie were sitting in the front row. (Candace Cameron was "D.J." and the guy was "Steve" in Bob Saget's hit ABC show in the late '80's, early '90's, "Full House".)

Anyone else think Tom Bergeron has a little too much fun with that "Slow-mo Gizmo", lol?

I remember the cat being flipped by the bird. And there was the cat that fell off the tv.

...and a cat that gets scared and jumps into the wall from a bed.

Two questions:

Pavanbadal, you may be the one that knows this first one.

1. I've seen that the new season of AFV is gonna be on Sundays at 7 E.T. instead of 8 E.T.; but once it's said it'll start on the 14th of this month, and the other time, it said the 28th of this month...WHICH IS IT?!

2. I saw one advertisement that AFV's going to PAX! Is it true? What season(s) is it talking about? When will this start?

I saw "Full House's" Bob Saget hosted "Classic AFV" on PAX back on Monday and Wednesday. It's a great show. I like to see the Tom Bergeron one on the new "AFV" on Sunday.

Does PAX-TV will air the original AFV from 1994 featuring the Olsen Twins? I found this picture.

I don't know if they're gonna go through every season with Bob Saget, but I hope they do, that'd be cool. Although I think the new episodes are funnier, I like watching the old ones. Last night's episode was the last episode of their first season (Not even sure what year that was; '89, '90?) where they gave away $100,000 for the first time.

I remember one time from the old AFV's where Candice Cameron, who played D.J. on "Full House" and the guy that played Steve on Full House were at the AFV show on the front row, and Saget pointed them out.

1990-1991 was the first complete season of AFV. I think they will go through all the old episodes. The same episodes air on my local UPN station from 12 to 1pm ET Monday through Thursday as well.

I've got about 120± episodes of the old ones on tape. I think they started over again, so, did they not go all the way to the 7th season?
