Seems the young fool got booed & waterbottled during the SARS benefit show in Toronto. Awww. Good ol' Keith Richards of The Stones hadda come out to the fore & save his lame ass from the hecklers! I *wish* I coulda been there. I woulda started a Boo Wave! My question is- who in the hell okayed the line-up of all those great classic rock artists ...& him?

That leaves a bad image of Canada. He willingly went over there to show his support, and was mis-treated. He went over there for charity, not for his own good.
Even the Rolling Stones were disgusted, and acknowledged the crowd.

No, it leaves a bad image for some Stones fans, which they've always had. Its not like they didn't know it was going to happened. I've seem them twice. I saw them last year when they were on tour with No Doubt. Everyone booed the hell out of the band that was before No Doubt. It was funny cause they did suck. Hell, I don't blame some of those people. He sounded like Mickey Mouse on crack from what I saw on the news. And the added cussing in the songs made him look even more out of place.

I will admit though, I am slightly amused with the bottle throwing. But still, if that were me up there, Id be in tears.

I literally laughed out loud here! The 2 people sitting beside me on this public computer had a laugh at it too! I think the very idea of Keith Richards coming to Justin Timberlake's rescue is amusing in itself. Of course no one would dare bottle Keith. The guy is a legend & proved himself ages ago & along comes ol' assembly line Timberlake. I'd like to know if he was *asked* to perform or did he volunteer. Cause if he was asked, that was totally just to pull in the teeny crowd. ..Really...

I wanna go to an avril concert so i can run onstage and beat the living f:grr:ck out of her. then i would set her hair on fire, force her to devour the ashes, tighten her tie and throw her into a pool of acid.

I doubt I woulda thrown a bottle, but I woulda definitely booed til either my voice left or he left. Why? Cause I don't like his "music" or his teeny/pseudo-hip hop image. It's that simple. I have no clue what the guy is like as a person, but that wouldn't be what I'd be booing.
Fact is, the guy *did* get booed & that tells me there was a big, fat, 12-sandwich eatin' error in the billing.

Well, speaking for myself (& like I mentioned before), I'd be booing the guy not because I don't like him as a person. I don't know him. But I *have* heard the crap he helps to produce. We have reached new levels of low. Thus, the booing.

I don't like his music, and I'm certainly not jealous of him...(jmo but he's ugly to me...jmo though). But I think that it's really tacky to boo anyone off of a charity/volunteer concert. That's their decision to help out. They take time out of their schedule to go and perform for benefit to other people. I would have just left or something. I wouldn't have thrown stuff at the guy. That's just really rude.

I heard that AC/DC were one of the bands on the bill. Which is prolly why the crowd was booing Justin. THEY CAME TO RAAAAAAAAAWWWWK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :guitar: :guitar:
It's kinda sad they did that, but I guess you don't serve a meat and potatoes rock & roll show with QUICHE.
