I watched the Hey Arnold movie last night. It was actually pritty good.

Then we go onto the turnpike(out of sleepy hollow) and they're still on our asses. then they pull up next to us and my friend shows them the knife while i'm flicking them off. they show us they're big ass knifes and metal bat. one guy is hanging out the sun roof telling us to pull over(**** no it was 8 on 4). It lasted at least 40 minutes. We get back on sleepy hollow roads, and my friend is hanging out the sunroof blinding them with the flashlight we brough for walking the cemetary. they dont even have their headlights on and they could still see us. It was pretty funny tho. Very odd. Its like something on unsolved mysteries.

JOLIET — More than 500 schools, including 12 from Joliet and Lockport, will have to offer students the option of attending better-performing schools this fall.

The Illinois State Board of Education released a list Thursday of school districts throughout the state that did not meet the state's Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards.

Among those schools on the list were nine from the Joliet Grade School District as well as both Joliet Central and Joliet West high schools.

"We're obviously disappointed," said Florence Dittle, assistant superintendent for education in the Joliet Township High School District. "But we're very optimistic and we're very committed (to improving test scores and getting off the list)."

The district is in the process of writing a letter to parents explaining the report, what the staff is doing to improve test scores and what options parents and students have this fall.

The Joliet Grade School District is busy scrutinizing its report to make sure the information is accurate since the district showed an overall improvement in its test scores last school year.

"We want to make sure it's accurate," said Superintendent Phyllis Wilson, who pointed out that state has made errors in the past.

According to legislation introduced by President George W. Bush two years ago, schools that fail to meet certain standards through their test scores will be required to offer students the opportunity to attend a better-performing school somewhere else in the district.

School districts like Joliet Township, which have no other schools to send children internally, will be required to look toward a neighboring school district.

So far, Joliet Township has had no luck finding a neighboring district that is willing to take the students, said Dittle.
