Again, I point out, if we were all getting money for posts, that'd be a damn good way to get posts for money. Oh look, this is post whatever for me, I've now got _____ amount of money for posting _____ times. But we don't get money for posts, so I don't see the big deal with it.

I think this is stuff we should tell Brett. In fact we should pound that stuff into his brain. He messes up once, gets banned, then is allowed back and messes up again.

Oh no, you def. aren't a dork. I love to read, too. I'm just having a book slump. The library here just doesn't have the books I want, so I have to put down for them and get them at another library branch. Sometimes I can get them, other times I can't.

I haven't been to our local library in ages. I usually buy books that I find interesting at our bookstore in the mall, but when I go to college I'll probably be too busy to even read books that I want to because of all the work I'll have to do. Oh well, I keep telling myself college has to be better than flipping burgers. We don't that at all. :nonono:

He's been banned since the 15th. I don't know if he was banned or put on Read Only. He kept disobeying the adminstrators and kept trying to boost his post total any way he could (playing 100 bottles of beer on the wall by himself, posting pointless topics, posting too many threads on the Chit Chat Games board, etc.) Pavan (pavanbadal) deleted more than 100 posts of his, many of which were pointless threads, posts with images that didn't work, and just to put it simple, crap. Pavan e-mailed his father and he is waiting for a reply. Until then, Brett can't post here.

I really and truly don't think I could work in a fast food joint. I just don't think I could do it. First off, I'd be choking some of the people that came in and two working around all that food. Don't get me wrong, I like food, it's just I've kind of shyed away from fast food. Too damn greasy here, if you ask me.

That's why I don't want to work there plus I've always had high hopes of becoming rich  but then again I think thats everyone's dream. Although, I don't wanna become rich and feel all lonely. I have high hopes of winning the lottery or maybe when I get 21 go to a casino and hit it big. I don't want to be billionaire rich, just rich enough so I won't ever have to worry about money problems anymore. And I'd share the money with my parents, too. I love blowing money, but I'd honestly blow some, save some, and give some to my parents.

Yeah, but when he did post before, he was quite nice. I didn't have anything against him. You really have to piss me off to get on my bad side, but Brett was nice and then he goes through his change and even though he didn't piss me off directly, it did piss me off the way he was acting. Didn't he post a thread right before he went bonkers asking why he wasn't a moderator? And I post in there saying 'You would make a good moderator, Brett' and right then he flips out and starts acting f'n bonkers.

His name is Andrew Carden. He's been registered since sometime in 2001. He left SO after spring of 2002 and suddenly came back months later. He then posted often and he off for a while. He came back and Todd posted, "Your chronic lying problem absolutely has to stop. This is your last warning. Next time you'll be gone for good." Since December he has posted rather sporadically.

It wasn't the first time. In January, February, and March of 2002, there was this girl named Laura Dickerson who caused trouble for ThomasE (a longtime moderator here who doesn't post a lot anymore) and Todd. She used many aliases (DixieCarter'sDaughter, Dixiecarterismymom, the little terminator, etc). Todd just had enough and told her if she continues to cause fight's and stuff she'll be "PERMANENTLY BANNED!!!" She got her act together and two new user names later, she became annoying as "BonniesLilCutiePie." She hasn't posted since last January.

And you def. had to watch your mouth around this chick because if you said 'I don't like Dixie Carter' or 'Dixie Carter sucks', she'll be posting right and left about you being stupid for not liking Dixie.

Yeah a 16 year old acting like a 2 year old with 30 million sn's. I was actually gonna go on hiatus from this board a lot longer than I did hoping that when I came back the immaturity was gone, but Mads talked me into coming back.

But we must remember one thing, are these immature people acting the same exact way outside of the internet? If that's the case, this world is gonna get shot to hell and back. Or is the internet kind of a freeway? I can do whatever I want and if you tell me I can't do it, I'll tell you to go **** off. And I can tell you to go **** off because you don't know a thing about me.

Well, I'm protective of Liz so naturally I'll say something back, but I won't do something like that. I mean I know other people have opinions, but like I said I'm just protective of her. I don't care if people like her or not it's just those who go around saying things that aren't true.

I think they were doing that. But then again, she was the one that had the army full of screen names, so who knows if people were talking to one person or 5 or 6 different people.

But really, people need to learn to let the comments slide. This chick liked Hillary Duff (isn't that her name?) and if everybody else hated Hillary, then well, they aren't you, are they? You like whatever you want and let everybody else like whatever they want. But jumping all over people that say 'I don't like Hillary', that's just insane, imo.

Yeah, she was one of them I think. I mean I like Hilary she's okay, but I'm not obsessed with her. So that girl didn't jump all over me for saying I didn't like her, but she was on other people.

I'll admit the immaturity has become high and it will prob. get higher, but instead of taking a year off from the boards, I'd stick with the boards that doesn't get a lot of *******s on it.

For the most part, most of the tv boards I visit are kind of on the dead side and rarely get new topics. Case in point, My Favorite Martian board, The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle, Diff'rent Strokes, FOL and now I can put Leave it to Beaver on the list. Beaver still gets topics, but not as many as it used to.

Oh, and I do know that the boards that I listed above, most of the shows aren't even playing. But even when some of the shows were on, they didn't get that many topics. FOL board was a totally different case, it got so many posts, but now I think most of the people that did like it, don't like it as much now.

You remember when I posted that banning guideline thing? First time is a warning, second time you're banned for a day, third time for a week, fourth time for a month, fifth time banned forever? That came from this one Star Trek board my friend recommended. That board looked strict. I bet if I said oh hell in one of my posts, I'd be banned for a day.

Yep, I know what you mean. That's cool, we both like AoGG. What'd you think of that third movie they did? Imo, it lost it's charm. I love Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea, and yeah, it was nice seeing Megan, Jonathan, and Schulyer (sp?) back, but the movie was a bit depressing. lol, and that's coming from someone that prefers sad endings. I totally fell in love with the Anne movies. I remember watching it in school in 2nd grade and I just loved the story so much. My family used to be big time movie renters and I remember every single time we went out to rent movies, I'd rent Anne of Green Gables. Every single time, I'd rent it. Finally my parents wised up and bought me the first movie. I haven't got Anne of Avonlea or the Continuing Story, I've got them recorded, but I'd love to buy all 3 movies on DVD.

There isn't anything in the house chocolate. Damn. :( And here is the rant for tonight. I get a can of Pringles and I assume the can is half full, no, it's got like 3 chips in the can. Ugh, I was irritated. So if something is almost gone, go ahead and eat the rest. It annoys the rest of the family if they go and get something and instead find 1 cookie or 3 potato chips or an empty box of something.

Oh my God, Married is coming up soon, I think. That is one of the best Hulk episodes ever, imo. It's the ep w/ Mariette Hartley in it. If you can't watch it, record it. Two part ep, but it is worth recording. Damn, that ep was sad. :(

Strong performances by an all-star cast distinguish producer-director Stanley Kramer's heavily symbolic 1965 adaptation of Katherine Anne Porter's only novel.

Set aboard a German ocean liner sailing from Mexico to Bremerhaven in 1933, “Ship of Fools” is sort of a “Dinner at Eight” at sea, a film that probes what one critic called the danse macabre of the well-to-do passengers in the luxurious staterooms---while herded on the decks are some “noble” Spanish peasants. Among the “fools”: LaCondesa (Simone Signoret), a drug-addicted Spanish noblewoman; an anti-Semitic German businessman named Rieber (Jose Ferrer); Mary Treadwell (Vivien Leigh), an aging American divorcee; and Tenny (Lee Marvin), a washed-up ballplayer from Texas. Oskar Werner portrays Schumann, the melancholy ship doctor, and Michael Dunn is Glocken, a philosophical dwarf who serves as the film's “narrator.”
