Okay I'll try to explain as easily as I can...if you get confused just ask. I use adobe photoshop and then animation shop. So anyway...

1. Open up a new image to whatever size you want it to be.

2. Paste the image you want to animate.

3. Then you go over to the right and click the T to add text. After you click that, you take the text tool and make however big of a text area you need. Then you type whatever.

4. Then after that, you go up to the top to image, then duplicate

5. Click on the text, but change the color of each letter one by one. You change the color by highlighting the text and then going over to the tool box and you click the colors to change them.

6. After you colored the first letter of the first image, duplicate that one you just colored. Then repeat #5 until you have all the text colored the right way.

7. After you're done with all the coloring, you have to flatten all those images. To do this, go up to the top to layers, then flatten.

8. Once all the layers are flattened, you open up animation shop.

9. When it's open, you make a new image. Make the image the same size as the pictures from photoshop.

10. One by one, paste each image you made in the order you want it to be. To do this, you click paste---> paste after current frame. You could do paste into selected frame but whenever I do that I never position the picture the right way lol. To change the speed of the animation, click edit--->select all then animation---> frame properties. In the frame properties, the higher the number is, the slower it goes, and the lower the number is, the faster it goes.

11. Once you're done and you want to see what you've made, you go up to the top and click view, then animation.
