That is one of the best episodes I've ever seen!!! But there were two mistakes. He said that his mother's name was Elaine instead of Eileen. And he said his father was a partner at some law firm other than Cupcheck and Cupcheck (does that really count as a mistake?).

Yeah, I saw it! But it's confusing to me, because it's in the middle of season one (or actually the last episode of season 1) but it's just clips they show from the original pilot "Spivey's Kid Brother". I noticed that they dubbed Stevens over Spivey. If you look closely at the part where Larry Beale is reading the telepromter in the auditorium you can see part of the word "Spivey" on where he's reading, but he says Stevens. Personally, I'm glad they changed the name. I like Stevens better!

Are you talking about swap.com or A weak First Week?

Swap.com was the first aired Even Stevens episode. A Weak First Week, consisting mainly of clips from an earlier pilot episode when the Stevens last name was Spivey, comes much later in Season 1. The only new footage is an older Louis relaying his first week in the seventh grade to Ren and a carnival maintence person. Pretty cool how they were able to incorporate it, really. Other interesting notes about it include-
In the flashbacks, Ren does not yet wear braces.
Louis says his father belongs to a different law firm than in other episodes.
Tom Gribalski is never referred to as anything besides "The AV Kid."
Louis pronounces his mother's name wrong.
The name "Spivey" can be seen on the teleprompter Larry reads from.
The name "Spivey" can be seen on a sign in the cafeteria.
