Whitney: (Grimly) We're all gonna die, the car's gonna fly off a cliff.

Emily: Look, I am going on this road trip so you three are gonna get into the car and you're gonna like it!

Linda: (Grins) I like it when you talk like that.

Whitney: Oh geez.

(an hour later; Whitney is driving, Ellen is sitting on center consel and Emily is sitting in Linda lap)

Whitney: Well? A little crowded, guys?

Emily: SO exactly where are we going?

Whitney: Grand Canyon. DUhhh i told you like a million times!

Ellen: You guys stop it! We're already scrunched into this thing enough...

Linda: I say we go for a pit stop!

Whitney: Yeah me too. Let's stop for gas and everyone can get a soda or something...

Ellen: Sounds good to me!

(they all fall over each other trying to get out of the car)

(a man with ablack hood and a long messy beard walks up to them)

Man: Heya...it looks like you're kinda crowded in this, eh...mustang...

Man: Hey...I gotta camper that I'm willing to sell to yaz for a 100 smackas...(holds out keys to camper)

Ellen: (Flings a suitcase out of the car)

Guy: (Drives off with the mustang he's attatched to the trailer and they're stranded)

A van pulls up. A man with a deep voice is heard.

Man: Get in.

Whitney: Well? (Looks at the others)

Man: (drinking a Coke) My name's Darren. (takes sip of coke) (turns up classic rock station)

(Linda and Emily are in the back seat; Whitney and Ellen are in the middle seats)

Ellen: Well, thank you for saving us, Darren!

Darren: (takes a slow sip of coke) anytime...(looks back at Emily and Linda) They do that all the time when they have room?

Whitney: (looks back and rolls her eyes) Pretty much.

Darren: Eh. (crushes empty coke can with one large hand)

Ellen: (gulps and whispers to Whitney) Are you ever nervous about hitch-hiking?!

Whitney: What? You think I've done it before?!?

Ellen: Just wondering...

Darren: (stops at a Publix warehouse) I have to go to work. I load Publix trucks with cargo. You guys stay here. (slams door)

Darren: (Slides open the door) I'm back. I've got a special package. (Slides a long wooden box in next to Ellen)

Ellen: (Screams and jumps into Whitneys lap)

Whitney: Broken thigh bone! Broken thigh bone!

Ellen: That's your themur isn't it?

Whitney: Now is not the time!

Darren: Don't worry. That's not even half as bad as what's coming next.

Darren: You are my test subjects to see if it works right...(smiles and reveals serevral golden teeth and slams the door)

Ellen: (shaking) Oh my god I'm soo scared!

WHitney: Just shut up! I'll figure a way out of here...

Emily: Maybe nothing will happen to us...?

Darren: (still smiling and opened up door, and put a stick of dynamite on each of the front seats) (slams door)

Ellen: (breathing heavily) I am in a traumatic shock symdrome mode! Leave me alone!!!!

(everyone in the car is looking confused)

Ellen: It's getting dark you know. Maybe we should stop at a motel...

Linda: Shut up. (Throws a twenty on the counter) Come on Emily! (She runs away)
