Does anyone know anything about it? Every site that I've seen so far is about getting newsletters about joining their church. I just want info, not a new religion! lol

Here's what I know. Reincarnation is the belief that the human soul never perishes or dies, it simply passes through a succession of lives. In its basic concept, it had its origin in India sometime near.....nearly 1000 years B.C., I think. Reincarnation is central to classical Buddhism and Hinduism. In the original forms of reincarnation, it was believed that one's soul continues from life to life in never-ending cycles, and that it was even possible to reincarnate into the form of an animal or plant. Most modern, popular versions of reincarnation limit this never-ending process to the transmigration of the soul into human bodies.

The concept of karma is closely associated with reincarnation. Believers in karma teach that the deeds (good or bad) of one's past lives affect this present life, and one’s present deeds will have ramifications for future lives.

Thank you very much for the information. I think I understand it more now.

I don't know, but my cat Tiger is living proof of it. That poor cat died twice already, he must really have 9 lives. And he comes back exactly as if nothing has happened. I guess we really are inseparable. So yeah, I believe reincarnation is possible.

I know that I don't think reincarnation is true...

I don't really know what to believe about reincarnation - I've thought it does and doesn't exist.I just can't decide which one to believe.

I don't believe in Reincarnation. Once you die, then you die. There is no comming back.

For real. Whatever I did in the past I sure as hell am kicking myself in the balls for it now (figurativley speaking)

But I don't personally belive in it.

Funny you should ask this question. This is what I'm reading right now- a book called "Return From Heaven." By Carol Bowman. This book mainly focuses on children's experiences. For instance, two I found fascinating:

A mother was watching her two-year-old boy playing on the floor. Out of the blue, he says, "I smoke too." Then he patted his front pants pocket, and said, "I keep my smokes here." Also, after a relative gave him a toy gun as a present, he always carried it with him, and cried if anyone tried to take it away.

The mother eventually realized that these traits can be traced back to her grandfather. He had been a chain-smoker his whole life (adult life). He kept his cigarettes in his front pants pocket. He was also a policeman and later a prison guard.

An even stranger case:

This time, a three-year-old girl. The mother was sitting on a couch when her daughter came up and said, "Mommy, remember a long, long time ago- before you were born?"
The mother said, "No."
The daughter then said (seriously), "I killed you!"
The mother said, "You did. Why."
Daughter- "I was so mad at you."
Mother- "How did you kill me?"
Daughter- "With a shotgun."

A few nights later, the mother asked the daughter-
"Do you remember before I was born?"
Daughter- "Yes, but I don't want to talk about it. I was a very, very bad man. And it makes me sad."

Strange that a daughter would think she was a man in her last life.

Anyway, that's just two samples of many that have been reported. So, I think there is reincarnation. It does make sense. Think of it. Take two people... one lives to be 85 years old, the other, 10 years old. It doesn't make sense that one is able to live and enjoy a full life, while the other can never experience marriage, driving, working, a lifelong of friends, etc.

The more I hear about it, the more it makes sense. I think that you can only remember your past life up to a certain point, because thats all the stories that I've heard...people talking about their past life when they're kids.
