Does anyone ever have a day at their job where you just want to SCREAM!?? Well, today (actually yesterday- it's 1:30 am on sunday now) at my job it was absolutely nuts! I work in a deli at a small grocery store and in the shopping center where it is they were having this small festival or just tables and little tents set up with people selling stuff. So, our store was selling hot dogs for 25˘ each. We made 800 of them and they were gone by 4pm. The only thing was there was a limit of 4 per person. One guy came up and said "I'll have 18 hot dogs". OMG! I told him there was a limit and then he just walked away. OK. I worked 8 hours and I normally don't work that long of a shift in one day. AND, I was working for TWO people, too. I finally got to have a break after we calmed down a little with the customers. It also drives me nuts when people are so picky about what they want. We have a lot of customers who are very old (70's and 80's) and they can be very picky! Well, I made it until closing and I took a nap when I got home. I hope it doesn't get that busy again. ARGH! OK, thanks for listening to my rant about my job. Now, anyone can rant and rave about there jobs if you want to.

I work at a restaurant as hostess and when we get busy (which isnt very often, the place is going down bad) we are like running around trying to find places to seat people which is more complicated then you think because you cant double seat the servers (which sometimes its impossible not to.) Then we have big partys come in one right after the other. And i hate it when people ask for a booth and if we tell them we dont have on available they get all pissy.

If you live in Southern California, the Freeways are HELL!!! and I hate annoying L.A. people:eek2:
Ahem!
Well.........
I take the bus, myself. And I don't live in L.A. City, but rather L.A. County so I'll assume that I am excluded in that description. ;)
Anyway, on to the topic...
Yep, I work in accounting for an advertising agency. Trying to get all of those "artistic types" to get a clue about the importance of timely submission of invoices for payment, and the accuracy and completeness of the information they provide, is frustrating on the best days and maddening on the worst. They're like, "Oh, you mean you need to know which specific project the costs are for?" Uh, yeah, I do. heh!

I'm a cashier at Family Dollar. It's not a hard job, but I mess up almost everything and it's really starting to get to me. I'm pretty sure my coworkers hate my guts.

I second that. I live in San Diego and my family has made numerous trips to Los Angeles and Sacramento and I tell you Los Angeles has the worst traffic EVER.
Last Summer I worked at my school as a groundskeeper and many of my co-workers were just plain stubborn. Whenever they were assigned a task they said it was too easy. Then when they were assigned another task they said it was too hard. They were in constant disagreement between our supervisor (who was the father of our dean which many people don't like for some reason). They would only listen to our coach who was the guy in charge but the problem was that he wasn't there most of the time.
After a couple of months, I was hired to do additional work when I got home from a two-week vacation for the two weeks before school. I was the only one they wanted.

I'm a cashier in a grocery store and it can be frustrating! I do like my job which surprises me b/c I thought I would hate it. The store I work in is the funniest place! I love my coworkers...well, most of them...There's a couple that I can't believe haven't gotten fired yet. The customers are pretty nice too, but some are just soo dumb. The same people come in there every day and buy tons of food and I don't know how they keep from weighing 500 pounds! I hate the smelly customers..now that's awful! Why can't people take a bath?
