LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Bryan Cranston, Judge Reinhold and Penelope Ann Miller will topline "National Lampoon's Thanksgiving Family Reunion," the first original comedy telefilm from TBS Superstation. The film will, naturally, air this November.
The film reunites Miller and Reinhold, who co-starred in the TBS thriller "Dead in a Heartbeat."
Reinhold stars as Dr. Albert Snider, a relatively conservative anesthesiologist who decides to take his family up to Idaho to celebrate the holidays with his long-lost cousin (Cranston) and his wife (Miller). Things become crazy when the Sniders come into contact with their hippie relatives. Hilarity ensues.
"Thanksgiving Family Reunion" is written by Dennis Rinsler and Marc Warren ("Full House") and will be helmed by Neal Israel ("Bachelor Party," "Do Over").
Cranston was nominated for his first Emmy last year for his role as the head of "Malcolm in the Middle's" dysfunctional family. Reinhold ("Fast Times at Ridgemont High" ) can currently be seen in "The O'Keefes" on The WB and Miller ("Carlito's Way" ) is one of the stars of the new FOX comedy "A Minute with Stan Hooper."
