Is Simon Returning?

I heard some sources saying Simon isn't gonna come back, and some guy named Nigel is coming in...... but I heard some sources saying that Simon IS gonna come back because the stakes are too high...

Anyone know for sure?

I heard that Paul Mcartney might replace simon but that is old news so I dont know if it is true anymore
